We often get asked why we don’t have customer testimonials on our website, or a page devoted to the logos of the companies we are working with? The reason we don’t have this is really quite straightforward, at SAMcraft we don’t publicise who we work with because we respect the discretion required for maintaining our customers reputation.

We’ve always been against discussing our customers challenges in public and not just because of how strongly we feel about NDAs. Those friendly Vendors, that our customers rely so heavily on, are absolutely not stupid and when they get wind of a SAM programme the last thing, they are is friendly. Often when the vendor hears of a SAM programme, they think non-compliance and engage their auditing partners to come and take a look around…see what they might do to ‘help’ and see where they might make some revenue. Making a big song and dance out of who SAMcraft work with could inadvertently cause our customers a lot of unnecessary aggravation and nobody wants that to happen.

The threat of software audits aside, reputations are absolutely critical to businesses and the last thing we want to do is use our website to write about who we’ve helped and what their problems were. We don’t know of anybody who would want to be known for having compliance issues or for having incorrectly installed software, it’s a bit like going to school and telling everyone you’ve got nits…you just don’t do it!
